Inspired by the strength and resilience of local traditions, Gangavathra acts as a stream of opportunity—flowing into areas that need support, dignity, and hope.
We believe in the collective power of people, especially those from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Below Poverty Line (BPL) backgrounds. Our mission is to create inclusive pathways for education, livelihood, skill-building, and community health.
📚 Educational Assistance & GuidanceDistributing free study material, organizing coaching classes, and providing scholarships to rural and underprivileged students.
🤝 Skill Development & TrainingTraining in soft skills, entrepreneurship, handicrafts, agriculture, horticulture, and more to create sustainable livelihoods.
💼 Women Empowerment & SHG SupportStrengthening women-led Self-Help Groups (SHGs) by providing training in tailoring, maggam work, Dutch mat weaving, jackfruit value addition, and marketing support.
🌿 Farmer & Agri-DevelopmentPromoting Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), shade net farming, organic manure usage, and seedling distribution to ensure better yield and income.
🏥 Health & Sanitation LiteracyConducting awareness on hygiene, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, anemia, and other rural health concerns—especially in tribal areas.
🧠 Youth & Employment AwarenessOrganizing career guidance programs, job melas, and village clubs for holistic youth development.
Trained over 100+ SHG women across various vocational programs.
Distributed essential groceries and vegetables during COVID-19 to affected families.
Conducted financial literacy and sanitation awareness campaigns with NABARD support.
Participated in state-level exhibitions showcasing rural innovation.
Created awareness on shade net farming and distributed seedlings with trays to local farmers.
